Our Story
Global Institute of Waste Management Science & Technology ( GIWMST) is an Educational and Industrial organization managed by Smacta Innovations Pvt. Ltd. It is a sister concern of IFSE ( International Foundation for Social Empowerment) established in 2021.
We are a team of well qualified professionals and social workers. We are the inspiration in the field of source bio waste management, very specially in Kerala society and we uphold it as our hall mark. We have trained and formed a group of well experienced team of Waste Management Consultants and Technicians (WMTC) to work as professionals. As a registered Trust, we were awarded Dr. Ambedkar Excellency Service National Award 2022 for our various social empowerment services, mainly in the field of waste management at Delhi in the month of December 2022.

To manage solid and bio waste as a resource, promote equitable, sustainable, environmentally sound and cost effective practices through an integrated system of waste reduction, reuse and recycle with innovative technology, encourage entrepreneurship, job opportunities, customer service and awareness education.
Our Vision
We envision an ecological awareness education globally about waste management. With our activities, initiatives and scientific research we prosper for a revolution in the field of waste management and save environment by creating a carbon neutral world. We aim at strengthening our institute by providing job opportunities through entrepreneurship.

“As long as there are human beings existing on this planet there will be waste”. I am happy to be part of this waste management project through SMACTA & IFSE . Having participated in the awareness classes on waste management, I have found a solution to process my kitchen waste through bacterial technology without foul smell and without throwing it on the street or to the neighbors’ land. With my kitchen waste I make very good organic manure for my garden and use bio slurry as pesticide and immuno booster.

As a member of the waste management project of IFSE, I have attended various awareness programs, technical trainings, and certificate courses and have become a Waste Management Consultant and Technician. It has given me a job opportunity besides my routine work. I earn my livelihood and make extra income by being a WMTC.

I appreciate the management of IFSE for having taken Waste Management as the hall mark of their projects and being part of saving the earth from global warming and environmental disaster. Being a member of this project I learned the scientific way of processing the bio waste and have started an organic garden from the manure that is produced from the waste. I cultivate enough vegetables and flowers with the slurry and the manure.
