Local breed cow farm
Cow has been a symbol of wealth for people of India. The cow dung has been used as source of fuel and fertilizer for Indian farmers. It was all organic and produced high yielding crops. Cow was the only base of sustainable agriculture with environment friendly practices. The milk of Indian cow is found to be most nourishing. Cow was considered part of one’s family. Cows were the basis of Indian agriculture and agriculture in India cannot be executed without the help of cow. Today most of the dairies across India produce milk from Jersey cows. Jersey breeds cannot be considered as cows, as these are originally a breed of a wild animal. Local breeds of cows are indigenous to India. Our local breed cow produces small quantities of milk but exotic breeds produce large quantities of milk. By promoting local breed cow farm, we want to sustain the traditional cow farming by producing pure milk and organic cow dung.
